Where to start...'the thread' began in early 2020 & died in Jan 21 without as so much of a peep from boss man until the last 4-6 weeks of it's demise with said announcement of inauguration day. rr & the sh had been banned who knows how many times for their 'contributions' to 'the thread' & yet now Michael is in the same camp of their idiocy & in agreement??

Towards the said very end He specifically replied to a post of mine that the the topic continued to draw 'a bad element not valuable to the site' & he was spot on with you two & the like!! 95% of the membership enjoyed the 411 exchange.

Michael has also had to halt certain college sport topics over the years due to the same 'bad element' & Back during the campaign / election the PACE forum was on a 30 day hiatus / cool off & I specifically recall a certain rr & the same sh who refused to honor it.

Most of the folks on 'the thread' were relaying info that was interesting. Then the info started getting ridiculous, there was no tangible proof to many claims, and one was still expected to to tow the line. Each time something didn't pan out, and dear leader got questioned, the asker got flamed. At the same time you had the normal trolls stirring stuff up, pushing the same buttons, to trigger the flaming. Happens on every political thread. Then y'all are like little kids who got put in time out. "But he started it first!" Can we ever just discuss something?

I've just reached the point where I realize they're going to derail every single thread they possibly can with the garbage that doesn't contribute to the topic everyone is discussing. At least with that particular thread all the garbage was in one place. These few members just throw their verbal garbage all over the forum. Can't wait for mods to put an end to it. Some folks just lack the ability to let go of things and move on with life. I feel bad for those types of folks.

I'll try to remember that before I post. I'd like to say, one of the best parts of TBH is the civil discussion and I dont want to contribute to the uncivil. Irregardless of the topic or my personal opinions on that topic.

You all run a clean ship and I know it's a constant balance to preserve. I've said it before and I'll say again, TBH is my first stop for all things discussion and current events (some of which are really controversial) and I hope it always stays that way...
