    Question about the First Amendment

Basically, the First Amendment prevents our government from the preventing the following.

-Freedom of (not freedom from) religion
-Freedom of assembly, regardless of topic/desire
-Freedom of speech, meaning you can say what you want, AND you can choose to not listen to what you disagree with.

For a lot of folks, today, they say that big Tech cannot violate the First Amendment, because they are private companies, not the government.

I nearly sort of agree, until the Private Companies become monopolistic, and in complete lock-step with the Democratic/Socialist Party. At that point, the Monopolies are just extensions of part of our Government.

If you don't agree with me, on that, the follow the following link.

It is a crappy deal but I still think the 1A only applies to the government.

I think that it probably violates some anti-trust laws however good luck with this current administration going after them. I also think that there are some anti-trust exemptions for public entities such as Facebook and Twitter and it’s supposed to keep them open to the public basically unrestricted but again, good luck getting the current administration to go after them. Notice how they have really cracked down and been way more restrictive once Biden took office, in my opinion.
