"The Senate voted down Sen. Ted Cruz's (R-TX) first objection to the Electoral College certification process, lodged against Arizona. While over a dozen senators had pledged to object, just six ended up voting yes following Wednesday's violence in the U.S. Capitol; Sens. Josh Hawley (R-MO), Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-MS), Roger Marshall (R-KS.) and John Kennedy (R-LA) joined Cruz"
So 7 senators who claimed they would object today backed out and didn't have the balls to follow through. And how pathetic that the Senate will not support the objection. Maybe they can explain to us exactly how much voter fraud is acceptable in a United States election. These Republicans are useless. We either need to vote them out or create a new party altogether that will actually not compromise and get **** done. Like Trump or not, his presidency has set a new standard on sticking to campaign goals and sheer volume of tasks accomplished. That standard should be held for all representatives.
