My idea for how SCOTUS should handle Tx suit

SCOTUS should rule in favor of Texas in their suit against Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin because they did run their election illegally based on the Constitution. Of course that will cause the liberals/Democrats to scream that now their voters are being disenfranchised if their votes are thrown out. So as part of the ruling SCOTUS should allow those states to have a "do-over"- give them one week to redo their election and this time follow the law. If you can go to Walmart you can go vote. Maybe set up drive in voting for those not comfortable going into a polling place, but do it at the polling place. They then have three days to count ballots and certify their election.

Now that the left and Joe Biden thinks he has won the election, the electorate have now seen who Joe is going to have in his cabinet and in critical positions in government- what he wouldn't share during the election. Also, the media feels comfortable now reporting on the Hunter Biden scandal so folks now know about that corruption. I saw where there was a poll that said around 10% of those that voted for Biden would not have if they had known about this before they voted. They are big on saying let the voters decide so now is a chance for them to put their money where their mouth is but we know they only talk a good game.

Could this possibly push back inauguration date- possibly. But for the good of the country isn't it better to fix this now rather than give corruption in our election process a foothold for future elections. We need to restore the integrity of our election process and for the American people to believe in it.

There’s already constitutional provisions for this scenario, no need for them to create something in this instance. Plus, wouldn’t that “do-over” be legislating from the bench?

I agree with the merit of your argument, and I believe it’s logical. However, it won’t happen.

I know that there is already a provision in place for this, but what I have heard is that the way the electors will be chosen will lean heavily for the Republicans (good for us) and will still lead to unrest by the liberals. They will beat the drum for another four years about a stolen election. But to counter that the Republicans need to beat this drum everyday- the Democrats tried to steal the election, got caught, and the rule of law prevailed.

Their will be unrest no matter the outcome.

If the stealing of an election is nipped in the bud now the unrest will be manageable. If ignored the unrest will be more severe and long lasting.

this^^^ and the division of people have to come to a head at some time.
All of the work exposing the crime ought to be utilized so this will not happen again.

I am completely fine with them being unrested.

After watching Kill Chain I think paper ballots should be law. No more hackable automation. Ballots kept in secure vaults under heavy guard until voting finished. Five to seven day counting period or longer if needed performed by heavily vetted accounting professionals. No more wiggle room for monkey business.

Kill the suspense. Kill the drama. Kill the technology that got us in the mess.

Makes sense. Can the paper ballots be counted by machine?

                      They can.

However, they should be hand counted at a table with observers from both major parties present.

So how many counters does it take to manually count 150,000,000 votes in 17 hours or less?

I don't think it would be physically possible to process that many votes quickly by hand, and I wouldn't trust that to be accurate either. I am sure there are ways to build dumb machines that only read and once programmed from factory are locked out, if we can make a machine that is 99% accurate to count bills and coins why in the hell cant we build one to count votes with the same accuracy.

That said I think it should be machine counted paper ballots so you can go back and verify later by hand if needed. Require voter ID or drivers license in order to vote and in person voting only unless in the armed forces or very rare absentee voting circumstances but make it similar to what Texas already has in place.

Let them figure it out. It’s what they’re paid to do.

Why “17”? There’s that number again....

I think facts are - nobody is satisfied with any election unless your guy wins. Dems weren’t satisfied with President Trump. Now Reps not satisfied with Biden. All have stories that support their views whether they be truth nor not.

I do t trust people any more than I do a machine.
