I don’t see a way to make things cheat proof right now. I would like to see things standardized first. Federal elections should follow federally established rule sets. Establish rules on who can vote by mail, timelines for submitting ballots, timelines for when the vote counters start counting, etc. Until recently (20yrs ago), all voting was paper ballots and, for the most part, the counting was completed the day of the election. There should be no reason for this delay in counting votes in this day and age. Just my opinion.
