Anyone else surprised and a little worried about how close the presidential race in Texas was? Honestly I didn’t think President Trump would win a huge landslide but I thought he’d win by a solid margin. I think this shows how our state has changed due to the influx of people moving here from other states and brining their ideology with them.

Look at a map of Texas voting. Most of Texas is solid Red. There are a few heavily populated cities that are blue. That is why it is so important to get out and vote...your vote really can matter.
All those that vote blue should be able to vote on 1st Wednesday of November [emoji3]
.....and God Bless America.

Well Hillary wasn’t popular to begin with and the libs has 4 years to digest Trump so I’m sure part of that was voted against Trump, not necessarily because they were excited about Biden.

I would love to see Texas quit bickering about jokers from CA vs. red conservatives and start working on actual solutions to actual problems.
Let's quit arguing about bathrooms, and solve property taxes. Let's quit arguing about abortion and start funding social services. Let's quit arguing about concealed carry permit rules and go straight constitutional carry.
Pragmatism, creativity, and making friends and then deals with your neighbors is the answer IMO.
And we can do all that without the NYT telling us that "Texas is going blue." It's fear mongering by people with an agenda.
Let's ditch all that crap, start over with a free and independent Texas, and reboot. Maybe history has come up with some better ways over the last 250 years. What if we did ranked choice voting, but also had a literacy test? What if we had simple voter registration processes, but you have to be in residency 5 years? What if we banned political parties altogether, or what if we made out of state election funding against the law?
It's crazy, I know, but what if we let Texans decide what was best for Texas, instead of hanging our hopes on the outcomes of elections in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, etc?
If you think the red/blue fight is part of the solution, you're part of the problem IMO.
