Those people don't need them then because they obviously don't get it. Not all that long ago a lot of people were loaded onto trains and put in gas chambers,burned,shot,starved and tortured. Disarming people is the first step before the trains start rolling down the tracks. People need to think a little more about that.

I do realize that. I give people the benefit of the doubt. I don't know why. They end up proving me wrong every time. Didn't think we were at this level of stupidity yet but as it turns out we've surpassed that level. I use the word "we" loosely. By we I mean they.

I don't see how they can take an oath to defend our rights and begin trying to take them away before they even get elected to office......and people still vote for them. SMH

I think it's pretty simple.
Different issues matter to different people to different degrees.
Trump isn't exactly a champion of the 2A. In fact, he has said some things that concern me deeply. I still think he's a better choice, but not because he's good for gun rights necessarily.

Y'all please remember that the 2nd Amendment was not created to protect our rights to hunt with our guns. It was created to protect us from our own government. We are nearing the time that such protection will be needed. Every single American will have to make a choice about that. You will either comply or not to be disarmed. I'm fearful because of our education system too many will comply because they do not know the reason the Amendment is in our Bill of Rights. Those of us who chose not to be disarmed will be forced to defend our rights to the death.

Probably won't matter much in the grand scheme of things what I choose, but I am ready to defend my rights... Door to door confiscation will not end well for the first wave that comes to my house, or it won't end will for me.

AGAIN, hunting ain't got nothing to do with it. When the 2A was written is specifically gave citizens the right to arm themselves to protect themselves against tyranny, and tyranny is what is coming. Back then, they "hunted" with the same guns they fought with. The 2A was not written in such a way as to "allow" us to keep our "hunting" guns to defend ourselves with, it was written to give us the natural right to defend ourselves against tyranny from outside or within by any means... "...shall not be infringed."

Almost every first time gun owner(in 2020) I know supported Biden.

They see conservatives in the same boogieman light conservatives see liberals.

I work with several individuals, that own many firearms. When the discussion would come up at work, about Biden and his gun control plans. They would just make excuses, and say that Biden won't ban guns. These are my union brothers with great health care plans. I'm ready for the socialized medicine to start. I want to see their reactions when they lose their healthcare, and guns. I will never be a good union man. I can't vote Democrat ever.
