    I don’t claim to know the laws in their state but in Texas you would likely be justified in using force to stop a mob of people who are making violent threats against you and your property.

    No doubt muzzle and trigger discipline was horrible but I’m not sure it’s illegal.

    Pretty sure you can't use a weapon, or even your fists, on someone because they said mean things to you.
    BUT these people were trespassing the second they went past the gate they tore down so that changes things a bit but the couple didn't fire a round so are they charged w/brandishing a weapon in an intimidating manner or ?

            Didn’t say you could but if you have a mob of people threatening you especially on private property you sure can defend yourself and your property.

            Just the pointing of a weapon of someone is not deadly force. Force yes, deadly force, no.
