I don’t know when the date of this video was, but assuming it’s current, if that officer can’t handle himself any better than that, and fight as though his life depended on it (because it likely does), he need to move to a desk job or just retire.

Glad to see there are still a few folks with some common sense enough not to kill allow a cop to be killed

As a fellow officer speaking, the officer in the video is completely ineffective. So many things to critique but we all see it. So thankful the good bystanders stepped in! I hate to say it but this line of work is definitely not for some. Also did anyone notice the large guy in the white shirt put his knee on the suspects neck when the officer was finally handcuffing him? The young lady came over and pushed his leg off him.

I also saw the knee, but the guy in the white tshirt did an pretty nice job of taking him down without excessive force and trying to keep the other hooligans from continuing to beat on him. LE was very ineffective and the second one comes over and pushed the guy who did all the good work.

Well I have no idea what was going through the Officers mind. I don’t know if it is hesitation based on current climate or lack of training. Handcuffs don’t come out until a person wants to go in them when it’s one on one

I disagree. Keep kicking his dumb *** until he never forgets the consequences of fighting the police. Sometimes, you gotta fight everybody and sometimes everybody fights for you. Some people, of all colors, still respect the police.

I would have had no problem if that cop would have shot that idiot, so him getting kicked repeatedly by the Saggy Pants Duo didn’t bother me a bit.[emoji6]

As bad as some want to be not everyone can be brain surgeons, mechanics or carpenters either.... I'm glad help stepped in.. That was in the beginning stages of getting real bad....
