A friend of mine came across the video linked below. Please watch it- I believe it contains profound but terrifying insight into where we find ourselves ahead of the November election, and provides context for what we’re witnessing at the moment in our country.
For me, one of the most troubling aspects of the piece is the point-blank, precise way in which the former Soviet “active measures” agent lays out the sinister and highly organized set of tactics & the overall strategy of the far-left’s multi-generational campaign to tear apart the founding-fabric of our country & society. The precision with which they have executed a long and patient plan to divide and co-opt weak-minded and vulnerable groups to achieve their nefarious aims of re-establishing our country as a Marxist society of economic and political tyranny is in some ways enviable…give them credit…there are a lot of folks staring slack-jawed at the tv wondering “how the hell did this happen?”….the “boiled frog” metaphor comes immediately to mind.
More disturbing than learning about the plan is the “aha moment” where it is clear through the lens of current events how far into the destructive process we find ourselves and how the throttle is floor-boarded as we race directly at the wall. Vast swaths of our fellow countrymen and women are convinced that a final lurch to the far left liberal progressive socialist agenda is not only the right thing to do, but this has to happen right now- even if violence and anarchy rule the day, and opponents simply need to be “re-educated” once the new system is in place.
I especially resonated with revelations concerning the complete inability to guide the mis-guided back to reality via historical and current facts…in this case, the truth would seem to not set us free. I’m not sure watching this video will make a difference to most of you on the “To” list for this email because I’ve purposely restricted the distribution to an echo-chamber of sorts. For me, the piece is simply another confirmation of how imperative it is for each of us to find personal ways to convince the folks dear to us to resist and vote against this.
Every major election cycle we hear- “this is the most important election in history”…oh boy…if this one isn’t, then I don’t know which one will be. Please contribute to candidates who will be the defensive wall against this madness; take folks to vote with you; attempt conversations with folks that might still be open-minded enough to see what’s at stake and change their minds…do anything you can to stop this nightmare. Vote like your children’s and grandchildren’s futures are at stake…it is!
