That is why I try to get everyone I know out to vote in the primary elections to make change within their prefered party. Once the general roles around nearly everyone just votes along party lines. I will certainly be voting against him if he is in another primary. I have lost all tolerance for the govt trampling individual rights.

He is not up until 2022, that is plenty of time to do your homework and get behind another candidate in the primary. We will all hold our nose and vote Republican in the general. But we need folks to vote for real leaders in the primary instead of the one that has the most money and ads. Dewayne stovall would have been good to replace Cornyn, but he didnt get the votes in the primary so guess what.... we get to vote for Cornyn again. Everyone needs to stop thinking its everyone elses elected officials that are screwing stuff up, and take a look at thier own. I know a lot of the local officials in say Abilene, San Angelo Lubbock areas have Rs next to their name. Pay attention to how they vote and what they pass, they are dems but know they wont get elected with a D next to thier name. We have to start being more proactive, so that we dont have to become reactive.

As a famous dem once said "What difference at this point does it make?”. If they are both going to act like democrats, give me a democrat. At least we know what we are getting and can fight back against it. We can run a strong conservative the next cycle to combat their leftist policies.

What we have now is a RINO acting like a democrat. We will get it rubbed in our noses and likely get a "real" democrat the next cycle. So with a RINO you get a double screwing and the state just slides further left. I like my screwings from the front side...where I can see what is going on.
