Corporal punishment in school COULD be a good thing if the person dishing out the punishment is just.
I got licks in school. Some deserving. Others were at the hands of the most meanest great aunt (she's 95 years old today and is my grandmother's cousin. All of us kids were in her class at some point in our lives.)

Prayer in school is difficult because of all the religions these days. Don't prevent it. Just don't force it.
Because if your kid was in a Muslim teacher's class you wouldn't want that teacher having your kid recite Al-Baqarah under any circumstances.

So have these conversations in real life. Fight the narrative in person. I turned back when leaving a guard shack for my truck on Thursday and had an awesome conversation with two black security guards. They though the opportunities in our country were awesome. They had zero interest in reparations. Direct quote from that conversation
“I wasNt a slave, my momma wasn’t a slave, my GRAMDMA wasn’t a slave. You guys (white people) don’t owe us anything!”
