I’ve been here a long time, and I’m not really involved in the political side of TBH, but......this is why I have never, and never will be a paying member here. With all the respect in the world, if I can’t say what I want, I will not give any donations to the cause. I understand this belongs to Michael, and it’s his way or the highway....and I agree to it, I just don’t pay for it. Lol

Admins would probably have a whole lot less headaches w/o the PACE. Good in theory, but will always turn into hurt feeling and name calling............ I remember when any post that wasn't hunting related got wacked.

That sounds like a good idea! I'm going on a fishing trip thurs/friday in Hackberry with the wife and BIL/SIL. But keep me in mind for future trips.

I miss the days when this was a bow hunting site.
There were not a lot of members back then and we talked about bows , hunting and we were all just trying to figure out how to make a video of our hunts. If you were fortunate you could even be awarded a Velvet Elvis.

I still spend time reading the threads that interest me. All the hate and discontent I avoid. I don't get upset, I just don't bother to read it.
I have made some great friend on this site. People I would have never met if I had not been a member. I was a sponsor for many years when I could justify it.
All that said Michael, Mary and the other folks do a lot better at managing the site than I could now that it has grown so big.

They are childish just like the name calling. Act like adults while enjoying this great site.

The problem is people see one they don’t like and instead of just blowing it off and going about their day, they have to make it personal and sling the insults.

Adults should also be able to just that.

I totally agree this was getting out of hand. Problem is, with politics it will always get out of hand. Lots of good mind stimulating discussion, and a few who feel like all must think the way they do, conservatives, and liberal.

With they way i feel about mainstream media nowadays, this is where i come to see what's going on.

How about keeping the memes going without comments? Sometimes this part is the highlight of my day.
