This is what I have seen in my line of work. I am providing gate screeners and antibody testing for the local plants. I also am selling the Tomahawk UV light plants that will kill germs based on duration. There are a lot of places that are not requiring masks and gloves but are asking for increased hand washing or sanitizing. Keep in mind that if you test for the virus, you must self quarantine until the test results are returned.

I have seen some businesses close for 1-7 days for cleaning as well as test results to come back.

I would monitor your temp multiple times a day and just exercise cleanliness on a more than regular basis and you should be safe but that is up to you. I personally knew 2 men that passed away in Beaumont from Covid but they did have other underlying issues. I also know 5 people that tested positive. One gentleman at age 56 said it was pretty bad for 8 days but two of those days he felt horrible, like nothing he'd ever felt, like 100# of weight sitting on his chest and could not take a full breath. Another Mom, Dad and son were positive and the Mom was like the regular flu, the Dad felt horrible for 2 days, could not get out of bed and his back hurt like never before and the son who is a LEO, had no issues at all, he would have never known had he not been tested.

Quarantine yourself and family for 14 days. Typically shows up around day 10-12 days after exposure, if you can determine that. If symptoms do show, lasts 7 to 10 days. You can expect to quarantine an additional 10 days after fever subsides.
      This is yucky, serious stuff.

To add to this, part of this whole ordeal being officially declared a national disaster (or something) is that companies that meet a certain criteria (# of employees etc...) are required to allow you to take up to two weeks sick time without a doctors note.

Based on what I've read and my own personal deductions, unless you're 60+, morbidly obese, or have an otherwise weakened or compromised immune system and/or respiratory system, you'll be fine. I read somewhere the other day that if you can normally walk up multiple flights of stairs without having to stop in order to catch your breath you should be able to bear the worst of what covid has to offer. And that the average age of patients dying from covid is 75.

disclaimer: I am not an expert or in a position to be knowledgeable, just stuff I've read here and there.

Maybe I’m wrong, but after watching all the people with masks I feel like the masks have to make things worse. People get out of the car grab a mask that they just wore infested with germs to go in to a store and touch the door handle and products in the store. Meanwhile readjusting germ infested mask throughout the process and touching more stuff that someone else touches and readjusts their masks transferring the virus from mask to mask. I am by no means a professional in this matter masks just seem like a cesspool for germs.

It's all just plain stupid. You stand behind plexi-glass but then the cashier touches everything you touched....Then they take your cash without blinking LOL

And how's this going to ever end if it's spreading super slow with social distancing? They said months ago the spread couldn't be stopped and 65% would get it. So they go overboard slowing the spread so it will take a year or more now to end this BS.

The whole intent of flattening the curve is to spread it out over time so that the hospitals can handle the surge. Even New York did not have an overwhelming surge as the reserve capacity hospitals were not utilized to any great extent. With that information in hand, it is apparent that the projections were wrong about several things. It is time to move on.

My take on the masks. Here in the machine shop, we have to wear them all day. Just running in and out of a store, you don't realize how hot these things get. You are rebreathing your hot breath for 8 - 10 hours. Our A/C isn't the greatest in here and makes it somewhat worse. Another thing is while you are rebreathing your own breath, you are rebreathing what germs you do have. I'm not sure how good they actually are for you.

                      Yep... That's what I'm saying.

So the question is what is the new plan they have? I have not seen a graph, projection, or heard any plan... Just "social distance" I guess for 1-2 years?

OP, go to work. We've had three people test positive back in March. No "deep cleaning" of ducts, nothing. Since then, none.

Even Fauci said they are a bad idea. People fidget with them all the time, get their nose sticking out, then will cough, but not cover any of the open ends, so then it blows saliva and everything else in 50 million directions like a muzzle brake. Then those people go outside, rip that mask off, and light up a cigarette.

Then you got the people wearing gloves. They will touch their shopping car, then a product on the shelf, then their face, then itch their neck, then back to shelf. With the same pair of gloves.

You don't need to be an expert, it seems you have enough common sense to grasp the stupidity of it all.

Just til November when they "hope" to get Trump out of office.

Clay Jenkins wants you to go to your time out chair and stay there until he says to come out.

Here are the protocols for the state of Texas. I would think your state would have some also.
