    At 25% capacity

Texas is open for business at 25% capacity. So, based on everyone’s interpretation of “essential”, I suspect this will be interpreted to mean full freakin blast.

Let’s get back to making some money, getting **** done, built, and produced, and let’s keep praying the oilfield comes back for all the folks that have been hurting.

Not everything at 25%. No bars, gyms, barbershops, salons

Opening back up at 25% is about as stupid as being shut down in the first place. Why not 50%? Why not 60, 65, 75%?? They are literally pulling numbers out of thin air. And none of it is based on science or facts. It’s stupid

Yeah. This is dumb. It's a step in the right direction, but dumb.
            Open it up already.

I had to laugh at his comment about stores like HEB and others have been at 25% already. He must not have been to HEB or Lowe's in Victoria. I've never seen them so full except maybe at Christmas.

Most businesses would lose more money by being open and only accepting 25% capacity than they are losing by being closed. Stupid. Just get government out of the way and let business owners and consumers decide for themselves what to do or not do. There are plenty of folks who still won't show up to an open business anyway.

I agree. At least we know the democrats' agenda and why they make stupid decisions for the economy. What is Abbott's excuse???

He really is showing a lack of fortitude in a difficult time.

That was the first thing I thought. You have to bring back in the staff but only run at 25%, some places could lose more money that way than staying closed. I guess he said it several times, they don't "have" to open up if they don't want to.
