Man...I'm becoming more convinced that my Wife (at least) has already had this virus.

There was a wave of Influenza-like illness (ILI) that swept through all the local schools and my place of work back in Dec-Jan, but that would put it to early. It kicked some folks tales pretty hard. I missed two days of work. We had one employee miss two weeks and she had a cough for over a month. This should have been too early, according to the timeline of when the virus arrived in the U.S. I just remember a lot of folks got the bug, and it was very contagious.

People weren’t tested for the “corona” until AFTER all the china crap.

Why couldn’t it have originated here and then someone from the states took it to China on accident.

Roles would be reversed. We would have seen the infections a lot sooner and be on the down side of the curve like China is now.

Hopefully we find out when it really started here. I'd wager it was here in January at the latest in decent numbers.

Not sure why they don't test for it to see who already had it....I mean if we can test the animals at the zoo....

Probably here earlier than that in small numbers. They have an antibody test, it just isn't widely available. As soon as that is available on a large scale, those who have had it can go back to work.

I read something yesterday that said 430K people flew from China to the US since COVID-19 surfaced and 40K since the travel restrictions were imposed. I'm a firm believer it was here before anyone knew it.

Sure are a lot of people saying they had this last fall into winter.
The Chinese New Year started I think on Jan. 10 and they say billions of flights back and forth from China during January to all over the world and back, may have been what really spread it?.

I heard they were close to having the test ready for those who think they have had it, they can see it in your antibodies.
