    I can't help but wonder...

What the world would be like now if Congress and Bill Clinton had not granted permanent "favored nation trading status" to China in 2000.

Chickens usually come home to roost and now we're knee deep in chicken ****.

Lawmakers wanted to turn a potential enemy into a friend—instead, they squandered their leverage, in ways that shortchanged both nations.

Elected leaders and the educators in universities have been able to remove the stigma and facts from communism. It’s no longer that political ideology that has murdered and starved a couple hundred million. No communist does anything that they don’t think helps them slay the Freedom giant.
So many people believe every word they ( communist China ) say and call people who question them as tin foil hat wearers. If I remember correctly China could not even get a satellite to orbit before Bill Clinton allowed his friends at Loral space to sell them critical data and parts.
