I suppose this mission was planned or maybe intelligence suggested Cartel was going to take advantage of Corona virus causing security lapse or making sure they had plenty of supply for when those checks come rolling in but Trump turned the Navy loose on em today. Should make for some flavor in the news anyway. What are your thoughts?

I worked narcotics for several years. When I saw them announcing the upcoming operation the only thing I could see is that there’s a bigger picture. Coke had been pouring in for years and seldom justified a huge response. Especially since 9/11. The shift went from narco operations to homeland security. I’m willing to bet a narco organization has linked up with a terrorist organization

Not a gamble I would be willing to take...I have been saying for years terrorists could blend in with those organizations since going more global vs regional. Add in Madero's political influence / connections (specifically mentioned) & you may be on point.

If this is true I believe that would be a terrible miscalculation on the part of the cartels. Especially w/ who our current POTUS is. If Trump were to get solid intel of terrorists/cartels mutually supporting each other I believe he would not hesitate to take military action against them regardless of what country it was in.

I agree with the Terrorism angle. What a better time to attempt an act of Terrorism against us than right now. If a country attempts it I hope the response will be ten fold.
