I thought we closed our Borders to China

According to Flightaware, there are Daily Flights on Air China from Beijing to LAX. Am I missing something?

Air China. Not sure what’s on board. But there are MANY flights with connections in Taipei, Singapore, etc.

Taipei is not China and they do not really like each other. May not stop someone infected but understand this is 2 different countries

I fly in/out of Taipei every month. At least I did, lots of People moving back and forth through there. All kinds of folks on that flight. A lot of business folks, people that live in the US and are going home to see family, etc.

Taipei has stopped all connections through there from what I’m told. That was my preferred option home in a few weeks. Hopefully it opens back up to non-Taiwanese passengers soon.

I completely understand. But there are a few direct flights from Beijing to LAX on Air China Everyday. Check Flightaware. Hope it’s not people, may just be Freight.
