I am on social security and the wife is a surgical scrub tech. Kids are grown and mostly on their own. The wife and i should get a check. I'm sure i can find a medical bill to pay with it.
Once was a time we wouldnt get anything, alas, no more.

I would bet there are provisions for folks who are laid off now. That's kind id what it's for. If not, that aint right.

I have always been impressed with what some of you guy's appear to make (at least how much you spend on hunting). Nose to the grindstone guys, that's what it's all about.

How the heck are you supposed to get this $? Do you sign up for it somewhere? Get an email? Something in the mail?

I need to turn the TV on and watch the news I guess.

For once I'm somewhat glad my wife doesnt work... except that its taxpayer money. Govt just had to go and ruin my joy over free dough lol.
For real though, this is a crap shoot. It should just go to folks who lost their jobs, etc. I'm still working from home, dont need any govt handout.

It’s socialism pure and simple. Take from those that work and earn and give to those who don’t
          Yep.

I guess it's a good thing my wife and I filed separate in 2018 because of my over seas assignment. She will get some but I won't if this is true.

People arguing over some free money they haven't got and haven't earned and everyone wants it to be "Fair" for them. Very Funny!!!

How did the goverment get the money........If you have been paying your taxes you earned it.

Yep. It's like the school bully taking your lunch money every day and then turning around on day and saying " here's a couple bucks back".
I don't give a crap whether I get it or not.

                            8%?

My company’s business model is to net about 2.5% and that’s within the norm for my industry.

lol, why the heck not? I guess I did pretty good raising 4 on $50K then.
I guess some people have a lot of unnecessary toys and vices.

If you earn $100k you are in the top 10% of the country. If your spouse earns the same you’re in the top 7% of Texas. I’d say that makes you a great candidate for being rich. If you earn $100K but spend more than that on mortgage, kick*** truck, etc, its your own fault that you aren’t rich.
