It's already in the community and spreading. Shutting down borders will not have the effect of reducing the spread and will contribute to perceptions of sustained disruptions to regular commerce. Imagine if all freight and trade across borders were shut down.

F the wall right now, lets use maximum resources to control and defeat then covid19, then worry about a defensive wall

Too much $$$$ involved in mfg industry...my understanding is all the maquila workers are wearing masks & gloves & going along as normal with way fewer case than the US. We are still catching Chinese natives daily but closing the POE's isn't going to stop that problem.

Only issue I'm hearing is mexico complaining of those heading south to buy up all the TP & other crap that is not on the shelves here stateside.
