Bloomturd wouldn't even know how to get into the tractor, much less how to operate it.

I get the outcry over this. Bloomberg is a gun grabbing New York liberal that wants to run a nanny state and tell us how big our cokes can be, and what guns the government will allow us to have.

But.... it is embarrassing to see all my friends on FB make the argument that farming is as difficult and requires as much innovation and education as something like machine learning or computer science.

C'mon y'all. The real technology and cutting edge of farming is done by a mechanical engineer designing a new farm machine or a molecular biologist engineering a more drought resistant corn. Not the guy driving the tractor and cleaning the dairy floor.

Writing code never fed a person, or provided cotton to cloth someone, etc. I know computer code writers and most of them couldn’t pour water out of my boots if the instructions were written on the boot soles. USA Farmers feed the world.

Wow! Just wow! You have not a clue about what is involved in being a farmer. My best friend, Andy is a farmer. His skill set covers welding, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, both AC and DC, mechanics, diesel, gasoline and AC, animal husbandry, and hydraulics. That is the knowledge he needs just to keep him in the fields working and doesn't cover the vast knowledge he knows about plants and growing them. You sir, owe every farmer an apology.

As well as commodity pricing, risk management, chemistry, agricultural financing, accounting, and how to get 100+ hours of work out of a 168 hour week with only 12 hours a day of sunlight.

Yeah farming is just sticking a seed in the ground, watering it daily and fertilizing occasionally.

It takes an immense amount of ingenuity to get the crop out of the field and to market and sell it at a profitable price.

                  You are freaking clueless
