Listened to talk radio while on the road & Rush had a pretty interesting take on this whole ordeal today, why he isn't pulling back & double / tripling down on these gals...think Trump wants to keep them on the front pages to try & label them to the entire democratic party & a brilliant ploy for the 2020 elections.

If indeed his angle it may be working...even our own Henry Cuellar down here in deep s tx came out today distancing the party from the 4 ding-dongs stating they were not democrats but socialists & Tx dems don't want any part of what they are selling. Something to watch Trump on & see if he goes out of his way with similar tactics.

Maybe he's got them figured out but sure think they can do more damage fighting within vs trump??

What are we playing slow pitch? Look who he ran against. John Rollover McCain and Mitt Rollover Romney. Easy to beat people that don't play to win.

John "Songbird" McCain pretty much checks the same boxes.

I think Mitt-ens lost when his 47% got leaked. But do you really think him and Don are similar?

Romney seems to indicate that he thinks Trump’s tweets were racist but for some reason wasn’t willing to say that word. The issue is that he’s previously invoked the r-word in denouncing Trump, and he’s promised on multiple occasions not to mince words when the president says something racist.

During the 2016 campaign, Romney expressed concern about Trump causing “trickle-down racism” — a statement that implied that there was racism and bigotry to be found at the top. “Presidents have an impact on the nature of our nation, and trickle-down racism, trickle-down bigotry, trickle-down misogyny — all these things are extraordinarily dangerous to the heart and character of America,” he said.

He was asked point blank by a reporter, and couldnt even muster the stones to give a response.

Asked by a reporter whether it was racist, Romney said, “That’s all I’ve got,” and walked away.

Lets also appreciate just how far these 4 morons have moved left from Barry.

Hell, it's the headline on Fox right now!!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi pushed back hard Wednesday against President Trump’s efforts to cast New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s progressive “squad” as the face of her party, now that the fractious caucus has united to condemn the president's racially charged tweets.

The point is - that even in the midst of the name calling, he handled himself without lobbing more petty insults and acting flat out childish. And he won twice.

He also won the Nobel Peace Prize. Go figure.

Jer - Would you agree that Barry was the most divisive POTUS to that point?

Agreed, Barry played politics 100% of the time. He also had the media backing him.

Keep living in Fantasyland. Your Messiah insulted every hard working American every time he opened his mouth.

The point for the Republican party is either fight to win or be guaranteed to lose. If Trump keeps winning there are going to be some Republicans growing a spine and wanting to emulate him.

He also had the media in his pocket and didn’t have to yell to be heard. He could talk without the media twisting his words.

And to address your sarcasm earlier - I do believe The last President was anti-American, anti-constitution, Muslim, and there’s a **** good chance he wasn’t born here. .

He has supporters that love him and will defend and support him, no matter what. That's fine. But there are just as many people across the country that hate him and will fight and vote against him, no matter what. Then there are people who can agree with most of what Trump and us conservatives want, but they also can't get passed the objectionable actions from Trump. People like jer james and Hntr2506 are probably never going to be die hard conservatives across the board. But they can be persuaded to agree and vote for conservative candidates and principles most of the time, if conservatives don't continually insult them and run them off.

You don't win political fights with insults. You win them by persuading people to see the wisdom of your point of view. That is what Trump doesn't understand. Or, if he does understand it, he doesn't care. Every time anyone says anything negative about him, he launches into a harsh and juvenile public and personal insult against the other person. That's entertaining to watch when you agree with him and have equal disdain for people like AOC and the like. But to the people who aren't committed commies (and are, therefore, hopelessly lost to our side) but also aren't committed conservatives, when Trump acts just as childish as AOC and them do, it makes it easier for those folks to reject sound principles in favor of politically correct emotional judgements. Like it or not, right or wrong, that's what it comes down to for lots of people.

We need swing votes for our side to win. Executive Trump is good for our side toward that end. Twitter Trump is killing us though. And every time crowds of admirers cheer for Twitter Trump, it just encourages him to keep it up. We should cheer for Executive Trump, but not for Twitter Trump. I don't know that it would have any effect on the guy, but it might. Mostly, I just wish Twitter Trump would go away and never come back so Executive Trump's successes could stand on their own merits.
Thanks for posting on this from a logical standpoint.

You can hammer your opponent and still be civil and even eloquent about it. There is way to slam your opponents without sounding like an angry, ignorant caller to a talk show - "next up on line 1, we have Donny from Queens" We have to remember like Shane said that national elections are often decided by that big chunk of voters in the middle who are neither committed conservatives or liberals. They don't vote based on well thought-out principal, but by how a candidate makes them feel. I don't think "Twitter Trump" helps himself with the majority those people
                              Ahhh, just simple and refreshing!

It's going to be fun watching what side the msm is going choose if this escalates / continues for an extended time frame...they seem to get their marching orders for reporting from the dnc, so this could get entertaining as they seem to dote on the squad.
