I'm not a Kim Ogg fan, but this is a good move. I noticed that the articles said the Texas AG office hasn't commented. I'd hope they follow suit on this. We have bigger fish to fry than worrying about what people use to get high.
Actually a good move on the democrats part. This is an issue I will jump to the other side to support. Next step is just to legalize and be done. To think anyone would really take it serious on enforcement after this rolls out is comical.

So you would trade guns for pot?
I'm somewhat ambivalent on this one. I see the tide shifting in favor with or without having to vote for the democrats. On the other hand, there is only one side always trying to take guns away.
I'm not sure the steps taken would have been the same if she had chosen to incarcerate someone harder for having a smaller amount of pot. As is I am not sure her actions taken would work in that scenario you presented?
