Absolutely. I was a bleeding heart borderline snowflake liberal, but the commentary on this site turned me into a hard nosed, stanch libertarian with conservative leanings.

On the presidential election...no. But I changed my mind on a couple state elections based on things I learned in discussions here and elsewhere. Obviously, there are several comments on every political thread that don't warrant serious consideration, but there are lots of folks who are well-informed and offer well-reasoned thoughts on the issues. I learn a lot from those folks.

How can anybody not be influenced by learning new information? I guess there are some that are so close-minded that they don't care when they learn new stuff, but hopefully that's a small minority (surely it is, right?).

learned and listened to points. I have learned more that my initial response isnt very kind and I have a lot to learn in life. But i can keep learning!
