From a ratings standpoint it's stupid. However, i seriously doubt this was not a calculated move by both parties. Makes you wonder why?

I think you are trying to call a Libertarian a Hillary/Obama supporter. Big intrusive government is all the same whether it has an R or D in front of its name. As someone who is also transitioning to Libertarian, I dislike both of the ruling parties almost equally. Go back to a Constitutional government that is not in control of healthcare, marriage, regulating the 2nd Amendment, environment, etc, etc.
