I don't trust Hillary, I don't trust Trump. Ben Sasse wrote an excellent article recently discussing the fact that character still matters to some, and should to all.
    Great post and perspective!

I know there is nothing I could ever say that could change your mind. I don't know you, and you don't know me. I understand the spirit behind the Never Trump movement, I wanted Ted Cruz, but if you're willing to give up the Supreme Court seats to Hillary to prove a point about Donald Trump then you either hate Trump more than you love America or you've bumped your head.....really hard. The long-term affects of Hillary picking the next 4-5 Justices will render this country a sorry excuse for what it once was. I ain't asking for much bro, but I'm begging you, and others with your same resolve, not to put our country in that position just to prove a point.

I cannot bring myself to become allies with Mrs.Bill Clinton. So as a registered independent I have to vote for the gop candidate that has the most votes in primary history.
My state is light blue so I'm going with what the gop has given me.

You misunderstand my thinking. I simply refuse to vote for Trump because I think he will be a horrible president. He's not a conservative and the reality is that he has a huge potential of causing this country great harm. He simply is not presidential. I refuse to lower myself to vote for him. I will also not vote for Hillary as I think she is a liar and a sleazeball. I will either vote third party or will not vote at all.

Spare me the "a vote against Trump Is a vote for Hillary" crap. We live in Texas and my vote will have zero impact. But my dignity will be intact.

Unless something earth shattering happens in the next 4 months, she is gonna win. The DNC has mastered the art of tweaking the small percentages of voters that typically swing closer elections. As truly a distasteful candidate as she is, many will pull that lever for her that wouldn't in this political climate because the RNC could only muster up the likes of Donald Trump. If the conservatives could've gotten their crap together, this one was ripe for the taking. Hillary as president, sad sad sad. And heaven help us if she as president were to ever gain a majority in both houses.

At some point all of us, regardless of ideology need to focus on the one thing that might help save our bacon down the road, and that's term limits.

OK, here is how I look at it. Trump may be a shaky candidate because he may waffle on some things, but Hillary has a long established track record. I am still amazed that Comey wouldn't recommend charges when he can't show intent. What do you call setting up your own server when there is already one established that is expected to be used. In this instance I will go with the devil I don't know rather than the devil I do know.

BAM!!!! Another man that see's this for what it truly is. The dividing line between our LIBERTY & SOVERIENTY starts with having the right individuals passing our our TAX dollars............term limits will eliminate a train load of leeches that are in the congress & senate!!! Much BIGGER picture.

Folks might as well get off the term limits bandwagon- ain't never gonna happen. Congress will not pass a law that limits their time at the trough. You don't need term limits if you have an educated electorate.....uh oh, where do I get on that term limit bandwagon.
