There is a distinct possibility that most of these people involved in this investigation have been threatened by the Clinton's and their minions and will end up like a lot of the so called "friends of the Clinton's" that are now 6' under! This and she has so much dirt on the Muslim in Office that he will do nothing and does not want to end up like a lot of the people the Clinton's use to know and sent to their graves!

A Senator can't file criminal charges. It's up to the DOJ to file charges and prosecute crimes.

They can appoint an investigative council/committee... but I think they have to wait on whether or not the FBI brings charges and/or the Dept of JustUs seeks indictment.

Gowdy is the chair of the committee that is investigating it - not Senate, but House. The committee hasn't finished the investigation yet. When they do, they can recommend that the DOJ file charges. Hopefully they will make that recommendation for charges against Hillary and whoever else needs to be prosecuted. It will then be up to the DOJ to follow through or not. Gowdy may well be dragging it out in hopes of getting a Republican President and a new DOJ that would actually do the right thing. The current DOJ won't.

The FBI is investigating as well. Maybe they can get something done too. It would be incredibly ridiculous and tragic if Hillary and others aren't prosecuted. I'm not holding my breath though.

It won't matter. If the fbi recommends an indictment, she's done. Then Biden slips in and takes it all.
