Poll: Majority of Republicans want the party to unite behind Trump
By NOLAN D. MCCASKILL 03/23/16 11:00 AM EDT

Haha, it was Cruz tatted up but figured I needed to change it to the inevitable winner of the election.

I don't understand that when all the national polling shows Trump loosing by double digits to Clinton and she hasn't even really started attacking him yet. When the DNC sets into him jokes about small hands will seem nice in comparison.

That's what I've been telling people for weeks.

Honestly, I think the GOP is sunk with any of the current front-runners. It's really starting to feel like the past two elections where it was over before it began.

They're trying to convince you that there's no sense in voting at all.

They is the main stream media and the political parties. Think about it the polls show Trump loosing to Hillary, Cruz in a tie with Hillary and Kasich beating Hillary. Is this common core math at work? None of them can beat Trump (so Far) but they have the best chance to beat Hillary, the numbers don't add up. Something you have to think about out of the 5 running for office 4 live off the government and the one not living off the government is wanting to cut the government. I can't stand Trump as a person and not sure I want him as a president but he does make good points and the other candidates fall in line. I don't buy into the old he was a Democrat so he must still have liberal views, guess what the majority of Texans were Dems until the mid 90's when the Dem party started turning more liberal ways.

So you think all those independent polling organizations are making up numbers and intentionally lying to the public? We aren't talking about one poll, but all the polls. All executed by independent groups, polling different groups of voters.

Not saying they are lying but I can make a poll say what ever I need it to say by polling certain people. I'm more of a math person and common sense and what they are saying just doesn't add up. There are more people voting in the republican primaries than ever before. Some are pro Trump and some are anti but they are voting republican so in my opinion there will not be a Dem in the Whitehouse unless something stupid happens at the convention.

I voted Republican in the primary, but I won't be voting Republican if Trump is the candidate. Just because someone voted red in the primary doesn't mean they'll come back and vote red again--besides, the electoral college will dampen the effects of the popular vote. Take a look at Utah (I know it's an unusual state)--voting red in the primary may not mean much if Trump is the nominee. I think the head-to-head polls are more useful in determining how the general election will go. Some folks will always vote blue and some folks will always vote red, but I think in this election, more than in other recent elections, there will be more green votes.

There are lot of people in this country who get almost all their news from mainstream media and CNN. They have no idea the facts supporting all the claims about Hillary.

But they can't take their cameras off Trump and he will get those into the mainstream such that the only way the media can protect her is give her the chance to answer back.

Those answers today fly with the liberals that love her but they aren't going to fly with honest voters. She made how much from Wall Street speeches but won't share the transcripts? She got how much in donations from Muslim countries that hate the US? She used a private server and put US intelligence at risk for what? That's crazy. And that's not even a third of it.

I don't see how HRC has a chance against Trump. That doesn't necessarily make me happy but I will be happier with Trump beating Hillary than I would with Hillary beating Cruz.
