I'm guessing if you pick the last one you will be getting laid off soon.

The left has been pushing the end of the world in 12 years for the last 60 years.

I think that one had a lot of legitimacy to it. The CFC's that were used, that have now been banned for quite a while was the culprit. The layer has since been able to build itself back up.

But, but, Man, I still use floral carbon fishing lines.....

Does this mean the EPA is gonna make fishing illegal? Oh no! 😁

              Always follow the money!
In the mid-to-late 80s, DuPont was a major factor in getting CFCs banned for "ozone depletion". DuPont was trying to come out with a new freon. How convenient that they got R-12 banned in favor of a much less efficient freon called R-134!

"The United States, a leader in the [CFC ban] negotiations, was to a large extent influenced in its position by its business interests, which opposed any ban until 1986 when the company with the largest role in CFC production worldwide, DuPont, had successfully developed alternative chemicals. From this point forward, the US took the lead in pushing for a ban."

As a chorus of questions rises about whether the world can act quickly enough to prevent climate breakdown, one lesson from recent history suggests rapid action is possible.

Every time Elon blasts a rocket to space it punches a hole in the ozone layer which is usually open for a relatively short period of time. Fun fact for the day.
