not changing your statement; I believe the million dollar question is how do we get rid of the corrupt politicians? they are getting rich of tax payers money and are virtually impossible to vote out of office.
Absolutely. Exposing them should be a huge step toward getting rid of them . Prosecution is what should happen but everyone would yell that Trump jails his political enemies. A whole bunch of the Crooks are Republicans. Much higher percentage on the other side but there are plenty on both sides to keep them from correcting the problem.

Musk and Trump are scaring the heck out of them. Like Musk said. The cage is getting rattled and lots of loose screws are falling out.

Out of curiosity I looked at the impact of tariffs on KIA and it is crushing KIA and Hyundai numbers. The South Korean government is meeting on how to deal with the tariffs and possible negotiations. One article I read said they will likely only be able to add 5% to the price of the vehicles sold while paying 25% in tariffs, I guess adding the 25% prices them out of their market but not sure. We like KIA's and are looking at another one. Didn't take long for these countries to start seeing how big of a hand of cards the U.S has. Jaguar and Land Rover quit manufacturing waiting to see what happens, couple this with the manufacturers in Canada and Mexico suspending operations for awhile......not taking long for this to get their attention. Casually looking at things I've recently bought, Bostich nail gun made in Taiwan, Latex gloves from Harbor Freight made in Malaysia and a dog collar made in Vietnam, which has already dropped theirs to 0%. Picked up cat litter for wife's cats and it was made in China. Their numbers taking huge hits has possibly, or can, impact their credit ratings negatively which they don't want. I think, and hope, that this will get sorted out sooner than later.

Personally, I may have went even harder on the tariffs but I'm not privy to all the info. I'm tired of the subsidies and handout that comes from my paycheck to fund all these other countries.

For now, I'll let the new sheriff that's in town do it his way to see how it works out before I whine about it.

How did they get it down to 0% ?
And why can't all the other Countries?

I've been away for 3 days and didn't keep up.

They came right out of the gate with it, didn't take them any time at all, may see a door opening with China and U.S. at such odds. Dog collar I bought was made in Vietnam.

I heard that Bermuda and Laos will cave in soon also.

But how? Did they negotiate something specific with America or what?

Anyone have any clue what China needs to do in order to get those tariffs back down?
