There are plenty of them available, you’ll just have to pay them $120k a year, 8 weeks PTO, 10 paid holidays, payroll taxes, health/dental/vision insurance, paid parental leave, 10% 401k match and whatever else I didn’t think of.

That 99 cent pack of China made plastic spoons turning into $1.79 when made in USA is likely not realistic. Probably more like $17.99. No, instead, it’ll just be a $1.50 pack, still made in China, with 50 cents going to the USG.

Genuinely its a skilled department manager that would work with new hires to teach them the task that they applied to work for.

I think today would be good, and probably all next week. It’s going to be in correction territory after today.

As the stock prices drop and the dollar founders, companies will start furloughing employees or laying them off. I happened during covid and its happening again. That, along with the DOGE firings, the job market is going to turn for the worst. How much will people endure before things turn around?

I'm guessing the dollar doesn't founder this year

Hunger is a motivator. Sorry but we all have had it unrealistically too easy for far too long. Only so much free juice you can squeeze from the world.

Here's hopefully how it starts to happen around the world. Negotiate with each Country and get tariffs down to zero.

But it is funny thinking back to hearing TBHers scream "Buy America!" Until now...Now it's all bad trying to get America to manufacture because of a temp drop in stock markets.

I'm also concerned about the stock market but I have been before and there has always been a rebound and hopefully it holds true this time as well but definitely concerning.

Yes Sir, you are 100 percent on point! The term Fat and Happy Americans comes to mind. I’ve said it many times and I’ll say it again for those that were Not paying attention to President trump the last 4 yrs - His words and spoken often “ it’s going to get worse before it gets better And it will probably take more than 4 yrs”. Who wasn’t listening ? For those of you that weren’t, do you think it was going to get better from Harris and her evil admin? You think you are losing some money now but how about losing 90 percent of it through Socialism ? Quit your bitchin - suck it up buttercups -put your spurs on and dig them in.
