    Yeah, he’s a complete failure.

    You lefties really are pathetic.
How about bringing down the price of groceries on day one? Is it more fun to say outlandish things that people aren’t actually accusing him of than it is to acknowledge the promises he made and hasn’t fulfilled?

If he had done what he said he would do (ending the Ukraine Russia war in 24 hours) this thread wouldn’t even exist.

You guys are just as bad as the TDS people, it doesn’t matter what he does when you see everything through orange colored glasses.

Yeah, he's a blowhard...mexico isn't paying for the wall either, but at least he is trying to accomplish what he campaigned on. Nobody is gonna fix inflation over night when you've spent $$$$ like a drunken sailor for the past 4 years, ordered the killing of all the chickens in the name of bird flu, wanna stop cows from farting & think fossil fuels are the devil. Good grief, we are barely coming into March.

Ending the war is all on Z...he doesn't want it to stop, cuz it is all about the $$$$. Hopefully our feeding tube to Ukraine is over. Let Europe feed the monkey. Just watch the all the foreign $$$$ to Z start tomorrow.

You really should listen to Rogan & Elon on the podcast earlier today...it's the reason he wasn't on Trump's lap. $12 Billion the navy cannot account for to build subs & doesn't make the news. Gonna get worse before it gets better.

Europe is unable and always has been unable to defend chit !

They prosper with their so called enlightened culture because they have a laughable defense budget, we pump the defense money in while they act arrogant. That pretty much goes for the rest of our allies.

        USA FIRST !

I can understand your pessimism. Anyone who's payed any attention to politics for at least a decade would likely feel the same. However, Rome wasn't built in a day. Trump claiming he would fix all of the problems in the world instantly is just Trump being Trump. He may succeed on getting us out this mess or he may dig us in deeper. All we can do is be patient and see. Regardless, resist the pessimism if for no other reason than because a pessimistic life is a dreary life indeed.

Good point except you should have said spent $$$$ like a drunken sailor for decades. Including Trump's 1st term. Maybe that's why Calrob is pessimistic.

I would love to see a comparison, but doubt there is any admin that wasted $$$$ like biden...the illegal alien crap, covid, dei, green energy & Ukraine alone is beyond comprehension much less worth defending of past admins.

But sure, let's discuss Trump's first term spending & blame that on today's grocery prices...ffs :-/

Cost of groceries is both a result of the inflation he inherited from the Biden administration and his love of Democrat-style tariffs. My Hope is that the tariffs achieve their purpose and we can return a lot of the manufacturing back to the US. It's one of those few things that I think the Democrats got right.

To me it is sad that Z wants to keep fighting the war with our troops. I just watched a cool documentary on netflix about this whole mess from ww1 to today. Called Turning point. One big takeaway I got was some of the political nu-once America gave Ukraine. After USSR fell - America found out Kazakhstan and Ukraine had nuclear stuff. That was one heck of a wake up call for America. Kazakhstan had nuclear fuel ready to be made into a bomb. Ukraine had nuclear missiles. America bought the nuclear fuel from Kazakhstan. And bought a few bombs from Ukraine - but we had to make a deal with Ukraine. That deal included security "assurances". This is different than a security "guarantee". A guarantee is granted to Nato members - mess with one, you mess with all. Assurance is Nato will give you / sell you weapons - but we will not physically fight Russia. There is a hard line when it comes to troops.

Ukraine has spent all their troops fighting. Now it's old guys and who ever else they can convince to hold a gun. So that is why Ukraine wants troops and weapons. Thankfully Trump is not interested.

With all the stuff DOGE has discovered and published - it is surprising to see how bureaucrats are pushing the US into a war with Russia. They are happy to get our country involved in a fight - but they don't have the guts to fight themselves.

I hope Trump sends Z packing with nothing. It is beyond time for US to end the deep state from making us spend money on things we should not spend money on.

The lefty crybabies might seem more uneasy, other than that I don't feel any more tension. I actually feel less. I guess it's all about perspective. Alot of this may be for show, but if people expected groceries to be cheaper day one, and the war to end in 24 hours, that's on them, that ain't realistic. Trump talks some smack, exaggerates a little, r a lot. But you have to be able to decipher that and be realistic. At least he ins;t sleeping 5 days a week like his predecessor.

I didn’t like Zelensky talking over Trump throughout the meeting. It did nothing but hurt his position.

It was like saying, “I know you are but what am I?” If any of you remember that as a kid argument. He needed to wait his turn to speak. Also, dress appropriately for the White House. He shouldn’t have been allowed in like that.

Z WILL BE BACK! Trump is just giving him a lesson in humility. The art of the deal. Your opponent has to know you are willing to walk away.

Tarriffs are not going to bring manufacturing back to the US, in my experience. The1st issue is for the most part the factories in China are not owner by US businesses, they are owned by Chinese businesses. There is no infrastructure to dismantle and bring home. It also creates a knowledge gap. 40 years ago when manufacturing 1st moved to China we had a baseline understanding of the manufacturing processes because we took our methods there. But the technology has changed dramatically in that time and much of the innovation has occurred through the Chinese, not our innovation. In many cases we don’t know how to make things in 2025 methods. We know how to make them with 1985 techniques and processes.

We can’t manufacture here because we don’t have the infrastructure and environmental regs would never permit it. Think about it, China builds TWO coal fired power plants per week to meet power demands. We are shutting them down and using less efficient sources like wind and solar and finding ourselves in a deficit. Not to mention the chemical waste produced by many manufacturing processes. We don’t have the baseline power for factories and too many tree huggers to manufacture what we need here stateside.

back to not owning any actual infrastructure. The tarriffs are expensive, but the tarriffs are infinitely cheaper than building a factory from scratch here in the states. In my industry to circumvent the initial round of tarriffs our Chinese partners set up shop in another Asian country like Cambodia, Thailand or the Philippines. Rather crude factories were cobbled together so that the country of origin would be a more friendly location. What resulted was lower quality products. Factories that were throw together quickly used machinery with lower tolerances and instead of laborers who had “generations “ in the factory they were brand new. My favorite example of this is our factory in Cambodia was months late on an order. We finally learned that the only road from the factory to the port was a 2 track dirt road that traversed a mountain in a rain forest. And rainy season had made it impassable to a loaded truck. They can set up a factory but that does not mean the new country has the infrastructure to support the manufacturing AND logistics process.

i know this was a lengthy reply and no doubt has multiple typos. But manufacturing is never going to move from China to the US even if we slapped a 1000% tarriff on items. It would simply move to the next 3rd world country that we can exploit for cheap labor and destroy their environment and waterways

I found this interesting as well. Is there any video of “the navy” saying what Elon claims that Susan Collins (a reliable RINO) was told? I find it very hard to believe that anyone who would be expected to have knowledge of Navy procurement funding at those levels would simply say they don’t know what happened to $12B dollars meant to procure subs.

Elon engages in hyperbole with the best of em; take what he says with a grain of salt.

I understand not believing Trump to a point. But two points.
                            1. Saying Trump spent money like other Presidents is stupid at best if they don't mention covid.
                            2. How in the hell have people shifting to complaining about Trump already? I'm sure 99.9% of us agree Trump is 10,000% better than Biden, Harris, or Hillary. I mean seriously geez..

We are 1st World because we enslave 3rd world Countries to give us cheap products. It's always been like that and always will.
If you HAD to buy all American products AND the products were 100% all from America you'd be so broke it'd be stupid. Like negative 3 salaries broke.

Right, this is the very point I am trying to make, American manufacturing is gone and never coming back.
