No this is just free market capitalism working. In the last year CNN’s primetime viewership has dropped from 1.3 million to 660k, a hemorrhage of almost 50%. Acosta’s salary isn’t public, reported to be $700k or $2M. Either way, he’s a hefty payroll when eyeballs are turning away and thus advertising $ is not flowing in.

cNN is still to arrogant to realize it’s their principles people are fleeing, not their personalities. I do think there will be a more central shift with whatever we lineup they present. People like Acosta have too many hours of footage of them saying crazy liberal things to reverse course now, so fresh blood is imperative. But at the end of the day, anyone on the news is in show biz and will act the part.

think back to the 90s. Dan Rather, Ted Koppel and Katie Couric all seemed like normal Americans, then as Obama is getting momentum, it becomes apparent they are all leftists
