that kinda the point, legalize it and remove the safety nets/nanny state. Decisions have consequences, whether good or bad. Accountability for one’s actions should be the focus. Not ‘daddy’ government.

That would work if drug abuse occurred in a vacuum, but it doesn’t it happens in society and negatively effects society.
