I posted this in another forum. They admitted to biased fact checking and being in touch the Biden administration over censorship on things they wanted removed.

It is interesting that they are moving to a system like X as created by Elon Musk.

He may be trying to correct wrongs but I think it is to cover his own *** since Trump got elected. I don't for a second think anything would change had Kamala or Biden been elected. I think he is deep in the swamp with how much money he spent to influence the 2020 election. I'm not talking about just removing content to influence the election, I'm talking about the $350M he spent to influence it. Spending that much shows his true colors more than removing "fact checkers".

I use FB for the marketplace and a few "user groups".

On the home page there are random posts. I tried an experiment. When someone posted a deranged anti Trump post, I copied/pasted it and changed "Trump" to "Harris". I was constantly flagged and suspended for racism/hate speech. Within minutes of posting. I tried flagging the anti-Trump posts to see if they would be removed, but they were not.

The same applies to YouTube. Constant 24-hour suspensions and threats of banning me Gmail addresses and such.

The true test will be if he allows legal gun sales on FB Marketplace/Groups.

BUT, I view this as a very positive development.
