I got through 3 minutes & had enough...how / who in the hell writes these 1500 page bills that only leaves a couple three days to review?? They literally tried to springboard the same agenda of the last 4 years into law & what the people just voted against weeks ago.
Johnson as got to go...can't wait to see how abc approaches or ignores this.

Full blown panic...Raskin called Elon the 4th branch of govt. This is getting good.
ABC news did a bit where they interviewed a military wife on not being able to pay the mortgage that was directed for Trump / Musk & the whole shutdown is all on their shoulders. Not once did ABC note the bill offered keeps the govt on the rails & the whole idea of a continuing resolution. Corp journalism / media is bleeding out.
The dude has 208 million followers & they are losing it not being able to control the narrative.
New bill is dead...we'll have a shutdown thread by the weekend. 2025 will be a zinger.

Vivek and Musk need to come out on every channel on national TV and show in plain English exactly all the BS and pork that was in the original 1500+ page bill and why non of it was paid for or how to pay for it. There is some speculation Trump along w/ Musk had Johnson put forth the first 1500 pg CR to bring it to the attention of the People, knowing it would get shot down. Johnson has spent quite a lot of time with Trump the last several months, lots of optics and chess moves going on.Comment

What needs to be addressed is why / how / who gets to present an 'omnibus bill' 1500 pages deep a week before Christmas / shutdown in the hopes of throat shoving...it had crap in there that would not allow the doj to subpoena house members emails, house members were allowed to opt out of obama care & immunity for all those involved on jan 6. It was supposed to be a CR bill to kick the can down the road, but they had to give themselves a 40% raise to show how brazen the system is.
Now Dems / RINOs are concerned about debt ceiling?? I'm ignorant on the whole deal, but I doubt you can fund the govt with all it's waste without doing such & view DOGE as the answer to fixing this going forward. I'm guessing the new bill funded by force / law the very bloated parts that need to be exposed & eliminated??
