Absolutely. Yet another example of picking and choosing parts of the Constitution to follow.

The mayor and police chief might soon find themselves under indictment. Of course it is probably just lip service.

To refresh our memory, Article VI , Sec. 2 of the Constitution says:

”This Constitution, and the Laws of the United States which shall be made in Pursuance thereof; and all Treaties made, or which shall be made, under the Authority of the United States, shall be the supreme Law of the Land; and the Judges in every State shall be bound thereby, any Thing in the Constitution or Laws of any State to the Contrary notwithstanding”.

I guess the mayor believes that the Constitution and federal law doesn’t apply to him.

I guess in the mayor’s opinion, if they pass a state law, the IRS can’t collect income taxes in Colorado. Good luck…. 🤣🤣🤣

They are exactly the same. Both are federal criminal acts which a state or county determined that they don’t want to enforce.

If any city declares it will not assist, or block, federal agents then federal government immediately cease any federal dollars going into that city. I'm retired from city and they LOVE government grants......Covid was a windfall for cities with Feds picking up tabs....it's mindboggling to me the people in these cities keep electing these morons. Dallas mayor, black guy, changed to Republican and suddenly was the devil and said he will assist ICE if asked.
