University of Colorado refuses to endorse a shirt bearing the American flag

Texas Tech plays University of Colorado this Sat. Every Tech home game has a theme such as celebrate cotton, celebrate energy, and in this instance “Celebrate America.” A local clothing company designs t shirts and sells them for each game with a portion of the proceeds going to various charities.

University of Colorado officials initially declined the design months ago with no explanation beyond “not interested.” But when pressed further after a 2nd design was declined they “wouldn’t license anything with an American flag on it…”

Seriously? The guy that had the school play his son’s “walkout” song instead of the school song when Shedeur scores a TD?

Deion offered an alternative graphic of the Aflac duck eating some KFC.

While a beautiful state, Colorado is run and inhibited by a large population of libtards. My wife, myself, and my oldest are all Tech grads. My youngest is there now. While not perfect by any means, makes me happy that Tech generally continues to conduct itself in a reasonably conservative manner.
