Where were you when Trump won the first time?

I was asleep in one of the cabins in Eisenhower park in Kansas on a bow hunt. Got poked in the chest at 4am, looked up and Big Jon, my son's best friend asked me if I wanted to call President Trump to congratulate him? WHAT??? "Big Jon if you're messing with me I'm gonna hide all your broadheads." No TV, no radio, and very limited cell service.

Took a week of pto to hunt and was sitting in my grandpas living room watching the coverage. Earlier that day one of the Hispanic ladies that sat with him, early dementia days, told me she voted Trump because of Obama care costing them money they didn’t have for insurance they couldn’t afford.

I watched coverage from the time I got home from work until the wee hours at my old rent house in San Antonio. Went to work tired and semi hungover the next day, but with a smile!

I woke up @ 4 a.m. to go to work and was shocked to see that he won. I immediately woke my wife up to tell her that Trump beat Killary Klinton.

2016, I was on my pier fishing for trout and reds and watching it through my back porch window.

In 2020, I stayed up late that night and watched the ballots for Biden appear out of nowhere.

Sweet baby Jesus, it sure was nice to wake up this morning and see the big red wave sweep through the Presidency, House, and Senate. God is great.
