Something is off. It may be because I don't watch much news. But even on social media, I feel like there's an eery calm before the storm-type mood around the country. My initial thoughts are a couple things may be happening:
1. The Dems "know" they have it and are going through the motions to make it look like a hard fought election so there is less yelling and screaming about a steal.
2. The Dems "know" they are struggling and it's going to be close and they are holding their breath and trying to behave so as not to alienate undecided voters or keep dissapointed dems at home on super Tuesday.
3. The Dems secretly want their taxes to go down and disposable income to go up so they are hoping Trump wins (ha ha, I know).
4. I'm reading everything wrong and there is no difference in hype/vitriol/antagonism between 2016/2020/2024.
Thoughts? Am I the only one who feels like something about the national political climate is "off" compared to the last two presidential elections?
