How to stop spam political text

Is there anyway to get this garbage to stop. I have had 5 this morning alone. I do not hit stop or reply. I have not taken any survey or done anything with my phone number. I’m sick of it.

I just “Delete and Report as Junk”. I still get them, but not near as many as I was a few months ago.

I'm on android and just switched to Google messages. I think their new rich text format. It auto blocks and has a spam text folder. Helped a ton!

I do the same as Bisch, but I usually respond with a picture out of the assortment I have set aside for spammers/scammers. It seems to have slowed things down a good bit.

And no, I can’t post the images and GIF files I send to them on here.

Yeah I hear you but these are getting rediculous. I just got 2 more since making this thread. I don’t need any political spam text I know which way I am voting.

This is the way. It catches every single one without me having to mess with them.

I do that for phone calls, didn’t know it worked for texts - must be a different setting because they still come into mine.

On iPhone you go to your message icon and cut them off.

Sorry for your luck, the last time I had customers I was using a flip phone !
