I don’t care two chits about professional sports outside of rodeo. They are just entertainers. But when a union can cripple an economy, and hurt millions for being selfish to hell with them. And those port owners should tell them to pound sand and hire non union workers and convert asap to automation.

Because they’re not causing inflation, supply chain issues, causing shortages, or generally being unrealistic because they don’t get their way. There’s nothing wrong with trying to get better wages or safety concerns addressed but attempting to hold a country hostage because you don’t get your way and sulling up like little spoiled kids isn’t the way. The general public wouldn’t miss an athlete one bit. There’s no way I’d ever hire someone who had ever been in a union after this. And you can bet it’d be a question asked in an interview from now on.
