Something needs to change with prosecutors. There needs to be a way they can be held accountable when they bring bogus charges like this that will at minimum place this fella in the poor house if not in the clink.

Listen, I never have a problem with a radical Palestinian getting shot in the guts, but doesn't anyone just fight anymore. That guy that charged over there came to fight and was quickly outnumbered, getting throat stomped and taking the *** beating that he deserved. I guarantee you that if the roles were different...let's say a bowhunter got tired of listening to some flag-burning liberal run their mouth, crossed the street and punched the liberal in the mouth, and the liberal shot the bowhunter in the guts, we'd all be ******. "Hell, that ******* shot Bubba and all Bubba wanted was a fair fight". Based on that video, I'm not surprised anyone was charged. Again, I don't have a problem with the gunshot wound, guy seemed like he needed one, but fight was going the shooter's way without going GUN HOT. Probably why he was charged. Pray For Isreal.

I would never go to a protest or rally with a ton of controversy as they bring out the crazies & certainly don't wanna have to shoot anyone cuz they don't like my sign...heck, they are likely under the mind he wanted to shoot someone since he came armed.

Not surprised at all with all the sensitive "excessive force" police have to deal with now days. Anytime the situation deals with someone with a gun vs what appears a hand fight the gun guy is going to have a hard time claiming they felt threatened for their life and had to use lethal force to protect themselves. Not saying i completely agree because you never know when a situation may start as a hand combat turn into a knife or gun pulled but just saying the media seems to jump all over these type scenarios. How many times you see a story of a young unarmed guy shot by police, etc.

while I agree that in the good ole days it would have been settled with fists we all know that is no longer the case. every situation/incident involving an attack/self defense should be highly scrutinized. If the person doing the shooting perceived a situation/incident as being dangerous enough to threaten serious bodily injury and or death to him or any innocent bystander he should be allowed to defend himself to include the use of deadly force. These idiot rioters that are passing themselves of as protesters are just looking for opportunities to creat chaos.

for all we know the veteran could potentially have physical disabilities that could limit his ability to defend himself. Once on the ground getting your head slammed onto the concrete could cause serious bodily injuries.

I totally understand all those points. Again, I like to see a radical Palestinian getting shot, but I hate to see a veteran getting charged for a crime when his side was winning the fight.
