Rockwall ISD in uproar after teacher accused of sexual assault returns to school (msn.com)

Not sure if the link posted correctly. My wife is a teacher and mentioned this story or situation a couple of days ago. My wife shared some of the details which was pretty sickening if indeed this took place. Not sure of all the details but seems to be causing a lot of uproar and discontent in the community and with this particular school campus.

I heard about this last week and thought “this has to be some sort of a false accusation or a jilted adult trying to seek revenge.” I can’t imagine a teacher being allowed back in the district after such allegations, but the story doesn’t seem to be going anywhere so there doesn’t seem to be any hard evidence it didn’t occur. I’m amazed the districts legal counsel hasn’t stepped in yet, if nothing more than to mitigate fallout

when the parents names are Corey and Tim, I assume they are experts in sodomy!

So it sounds like there was nothing other than an allegation. School, Sheriff's office and GJ all say no evidence. I mean, it sucks, but what can you do in that situation? You can't just go around ruining people's lives based on allegations alone. It's trickier with kids, so you could remove her from the classroom and give her some admin job I suppose.

Yeah I only heard what my wife stated based on the words of a pre-k student telling the parents what had happened. Apparently, there were two different pre-k kids that this supposedly happened too. All I know is the parents confronted both the school and local PD about what was occurring based on the comments from the child. Apparently there was video footage of the two kids held back from recess which is when this was supposedly taking place.
I don't know any details from investigations with the two children involved and how their stories lined up and such. I'm sure that is not public knowledge but it seems the parents took matters in their own hands and wrote letters explaining the incident to new incoming parents in regards to this particular teacher. It has caused an uproar which I can imagine so given these type events do happen in our school systems which is very sad to say.

A different article referenced the kid's Mother. I think Corey is a woman. I know several.

interesting about the footage. While it wouldn't prove anything it sure would be an oddity that both students just happened to be held from recess.

Whatever the truth is and whatever happened, I just hope whoever hurt the kids gets what they deserve and the kids can live normal happy lives.

Heard Round Rock bathrooms in schools are "gender" neutral, at least were opening of school year when a parent touring saw it and blasted the airwaves......not sure what ended up happening or if I have town exactly right

My only 2 comments on this are:

1 - There was not enough info given...I would hate to have been accused of something like that and have done absolutely nothing.

2- Neutral gender bathrooms and non/transparancy. I think this is why they fight so hard against School choice, becouse schools like this wouldn't be able to afford to keep their lights on.
