The Apostle Paul, handpicked by the Lord Jesus, was imprisoned, beaten, shipwrecked, slandered, handicapped, snake-bitten and more. God told him, "Go to Rome. I will be with you there." Paul went to Rome where he got his head chopped off. And that was God being with him. Just like his Lord Jesus.
Do not mistake a charmed life for God's approval.

I have seen repentance from Trump. If you're expecting repentance to look like Jim Baker crying in the camera then you're not going to get that. I see Trump standing to be a strong leader. When he walked out on the RNC on day one he looked very emotional to me.

What did he repent of specifically?

Some expect repentance to suddenly make a person perfect in everything they do. It only makes us perfect in Christ. We still contend with our nature and must constantly live to correct it through our Spirit. Perfection of nature is a journey born through a relationship with Christ and living by the guidance of His Holy Spirit.

Amen Rodney. If I was judged by my actions or vocabulary on a daily basis and not considered what’s in my heart and spirit some fellow Christian’s would feel compelled to throw me in a pool of Holy Water.

Well Terry, in their defense, we both could probably use a Holy Water bath once in while 🤣🤣😪😪😞😞

I think if we tried to throw you into a pool of holy water, you’d just float. As for your irreverent sense of humor and your crotch mouth, well, I, for one, don’t think you’d be nearly as much fun without them.

And that’s what’s in my heart.

Joel Osteen and a whole host of modern evangelical prosperity gospel preachers are petitioning that you no longer be allowed to use the Bible to contradict their doctrine….
