Cities, suburbs, rural area. It is getting difficult to drive. City water line replacement, Streets in the suburbs and bridges in the rural areas. Anyone else notice how hard it is to drive without construction. Did Joe do this?

Heck, interstate 45 between Galveston n Houston was the first one in the state, and it ain't finished YET!! Been multiple generations of many families made their living off I-45 construction! 59 ain't no different. It's just not quite an interstate yet...
But hey, that's "progress"... or at least that's what we're told... so construction is a good thing.... sometimes...

Speaking of interstates that was President Eisenhower did that. Truck traffic used to go across US highways like 180, 190 and 380. You can blame him for the loss of good chicken fried steak places steak places along those routes. This meant the slow decay of these small town. Not sure if anyone can chime in on completion level but Gosling Road, Harris County from The Woodlands to 99 has to have been one of the longest projects Ive witnessed by road size.
