why is there so many signs and posters in foreign languages telling people where to vote, etc.
I thought that to become a citizen you had to be fairly fluent in the english language.

People can actually take the citizenship test in languages other than English. A lot of people (including comedian, Carlos Mencia) think this is wrong. I personally think it should be up to each state whether or not to provide ballots in more than one language. But I believe in states rights over everything not protected by the constitution.

I’ve always been miffed about that. It made me change to bringing my gas bill for the ID. First time I did it they asked, “Don’t you have an ID?” I told them, “This is a valid ID.” Offer your CHL and the new workers get confused how to verify it.
