Good point. How long does bagged feed last? I need to find something more natural/self-sustaining that can survive a nuclear winter. Quail/chickens/pigs/rabbits.

So by your logic the world will never be at war ever again! Thanks. We can all rest easy now.

I love the quail but the only thing I can think of to keep them going would be a maggot or worm farm. At least chickens can graze in the yard, **** quail will run away lol.

Since you believe him to always be so wrong, why don't you enlighten us with one of your bold predictions then? Some of your wisdom...

Don't let your birds eat maggots. Maggots can give them limberneck and they will die. Maggots that have fed on rotten carrion are No Bueno but chickens are too dumb to know that.

He can't help it. Notice he never quotes me? He has to exaggerate.

I never predicted a nuclear war. Just said the odds are higher than people think (because most think zero).
I did predict inflation but I guess we didn't have enough so he says I was wrong LOL

You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come.

Thanks for the heads up, it would only be a last resort type of thing. Maybe preparing for WW3 I should get a black soldier fly larvae setup going, good excuse to get it started though I have only ever seen one around here in the last few years that I've known what they are.

I don't think so. The world can't afford it. China is not some "powerhouse". Their population is already set to plummet. Russia? They are being funded by China. Iran? Well they are a **** in a punch bowl, but Israel will fire off nukes on a whim if they need to, and poof, Iran gone.

And Ukraine can't join NATO while in a war themselves. So there's that. And if they ever did join, I wouldn't blame Putin for starting a war personally. We've attacked, poked, prodded, annoyed Russia ever since the USSR fell. We refuse to let them be part of the west (Despite Putin making some pretty bold concessions to Bush and Obama). The problem is all the chickenhawk establishment in the west. Bunch of politicians who couldn't lift up an M4, much less know how to take one off safety.

I guess I just don’t worry about the things some of you worry about. You can’t do anything about it, so why worry ?

So you don't think the people can do anything about politicians? In your opinion what can regular people change? Or should we simply never do anything?

BTW - There's a difference between worry, afraid, and just staying on top of things.
