If i recall we were tracking the balloon...we just didnt shoot it down till it had crossed the mainland and uploaded all the data.

I didn't take the "we lost it" literally. My understanding is, the plane was flying, pilot ejected, and they never saw where it landed, so generally were asking for help locating the wreckage. Then some other "expert" concluded it could technically fly on until out of fuel, and being stealth, we would never see it on radar. GPS is probably non-existant because stealth.

I am not saying I know any of this to be true. Just that it seems more plausible than not.

So where are the news choppers showing us the wreckage? Any pictures? Name one time a plane wrecks on land in a populated area and there are not instant pictures and video with news crews.
